Graduate Trainee Credit Analyst, Farnborough, c£26k Basic Salary + Car + Great Benefits

This is a cracking opportunity for a bright graduate to join a household named international business in what will grow into a key role within the Credit Management team. This position is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, but the likelihood of this not being extended indefinitely (as it is effectively a permanent requirement) are extremely low.

In this varied and challenging analytical capacity, you will eventually be responsible for:

Approving (or declining) customer’s credit applications after completing thorough credit reviews; as well as communicating credit decisions to internal sales channels and external partners alike.

Ensuring that all decisions and consequent documentation are of the highest quality and compliant with the legal requirements of a lending business.

Working closely with colleagues to share best practice and form strong working relationships with others to facilitate a collaborative approach to resolving issues.

Identifying potential opportunities for process improvements that enhance the business’ customer service offering.

About you:

This position will suit a strong graduate, ideally with a First or at least a 2:1 in a discipline like Accounting, Economics, Maths or Sciences who is looking for something challenging and analytical that they can build a career in. It must be noted that this position works in the Credit Analysis team and not the Accounts team so will not suit candidates looking to be accountants.

Comprehensive training and support will be given. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise and ensure deadlines are met through effective time management, have a great eye for detail with strong Word and Excel skills and be an effective communicator with the ability to work as part of a team and individually.

In return for your hard work and excellence, and working in this modern and well serviced office environment (which has parking and a subsidised canteen), this client is prepared to offer a strong graduate an extremely competitive basic salary of c£26,000 plus a wide selection of blue chip benefits and a prestige company car so in reality the package is worth at least 10k more than just the basic salary. It is also likely that the client will recruit more than one of these positions as the department is extremely busy and growing.
