Our client, a Swiss-based company with a significant global presence, is currently looking for a Global Rewards Solutions Lead to join their dynamic team in Budapest.

What you will be doing:

• Consult with Regional CoE on the business needs, providing market trends / industry views to be sure Reward Solutions (services) meet the demand of the company business
• Establish and oversee a direct benchmarking analysis capability, which enables the company to refine reward polices and understand competitiveness of remuneration in the market
• Ensure the timely delivery of compensation related data into yearly, ad-hoc and other standard related processes
• Evaluate job levels to design compensation and benefits commensurate with the job level; maintain a log of job levels and update it regularly to reflect changes in organization structure/role requirements
• Guide the incentive philosophy which includes policies for Long Term Incentives, Short Term Incentives, other benefits including region specific considerations
• Provide input to the development of employee recognition programs designed to drive employee engagement and performance against business objectives
• Consult with third party agents to design, manage employee benefit plans, such as wellness programs, health, dental, vision disability and retirement plans; Negotiate with the external vendors to get the best deal for the company employees (TBC) – 2020+
• Provide operational support to regions in executing the rewards strategy including communication of yearly compensation/ salary activities
• Ensure compliance with local government laws on compensation and benefits
• Act as pointed escalation point for GL HR Services Leads (satellites) along with key Regional HR or Business stakeholders in need of issues resolution on rewards
• Own the relevant process documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and shared within knowledge management
• Ensure procedural and policy knowledge base including 3rd party hand-offs is defined and maintained
• Ensure the assigned team understands the latest HR policies and processes relevant to rewards, compensation and benefits and its alignment with the organizational strategic direction and has the necessary training to execute them
• Enable collaboration among various HR teams for knowledge sharing as well as to deliver an integrated employee experience
• Researches industry and relevant employment market compensation and benefit plans to determine the company’s competitive position. Analyzes results and develops recommendations for management.
• Develops specifications for new plans or modifies existing plans to maintain company’s competitive position in the employment

Requirements that make you the best candidate:
• University degree in Business/ HR/Economic
• Fluent in English
• 6+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years experience in compensation and benefits role, Experience in shared services environment
• Good knowledge of MS office, experience with large ERP system(s)/cloud based HR solutions
• Knows the business and has experience in the firm/ industry for at least 5 years
