Reed Education are working in collaboration with a “Good” 11-16 school in a affluent village between Leicester and Loughborough, that have a brilliant reputation for attainment and progress, from October Half Term, an English Teacher with experience delivering across Key Stages 3 & 4.

The role is to cover a long term sickness which would be initially till January 2018 however could go on for longer for the right candidate.

The school has over 1200 students on role from a diverse selection of backgrounds, and recently boasted some of the highest GCSE pass grades in the county.

The Ofsted inspection report from 2013 grades the school as ‘Good’ overall and highlights that there is “strong leadership by the head teacher, supported well by senior, subject and pastoral leaders, enables all staff to be involved in the continued improvements in teaching and achievement”. The head teacher is looking to bring the right minded, abled and dedicated teachers to the school.

They have recently achieved their highest ever attainment records across GCSE in the last academic year and are on track to continue this trend this year.

I have visited the school myself many times and can tell you that the whole feel of the school is of a positive and welcoming nature, the corridors are calm and the boards and classrooms are exciting, fun and focused. Students are walking round with smiles on their faces and are full of energy. A good sign.
