Job Title: Gaming Teacher
Location: Guildford,Surrey
Salary: £27 - £30 per hour
Hours: 28 (20 hours contact time) hours per week
Duration: Temporary Ongoing

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a Great College on an exciting new role in the Surrey area.

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Gaming Teacher to join them on a permanent basis.

The Role:
To deliver:
-Year 1 and Year 2 A level Computing
-BTEC Sub Dip and Dip in Creative Media Production (Gaming)
Level 2 and/or 3 Btec IT.
-Develop, deliver and assess a range of units across level 2 and 3 programmes [The majority of teaching is likely to be on level 3 programmes, however, there may be the opportunity to teach across other programmes
- You will be working with students aged 16+
- Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

What you will need:

· Recognised teaching qualification - Cert/Ed or PGCE
· Degree or equivalent in the related subject.
· Experience delivering BTEC Gaming in a Further Education setting
· Up to date knowledge of the changes to specification for BTEC Gaming and awareness of recent developments
· Good IT skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Flexible and positive attitude towards new courses in the area
· Good classroom management
