My client is a highly established multi purpose sports complex, with a wealth of tradition behind them.
The successful Candidates will need to be either qualified or a finalist (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), Have Corporate accounting knowledge and experience including:
Production of consolidated accounts
Creating and delivering financial operating standards
Proven experience and capability in managing the finance functions of sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll
Monthly management accounts
Monthly consolidated accounts
Budgets and forecasts
Year end statutory accounts and audit
• Accurately complete financial tasks as directed by the Financial Director including:
Capital expenditure project cost and financial expenditure monitoring
• Assist in the cash flow management for the Club producing accurate information to the standard required.
• Complete Companies House and HM Revenue and Customs returns reporting ensuring statutory and schedule compliance.
• Control and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.
• Establish and maintain effective financial operational standards across the finance team in the areas of sales ledger, purchase ledger, general accounts work and payroll ensuring high standards of work are maintained.
• Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls across the Club reporting discrepancies or concerns to the Finance Director.
• Ensure the delivery of a prompt helpful and friendly accounts service is maintained at all times.
• Delivering professional advice to progress financial understanding and competence.
