We require a Fleet Assistant to cover an existing workload based at Staines for Surrey Police.
This is an interim position with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.
To undertake and support a range of administrative processes on SAP and other programs.
To support service delivery by efficiently and cost effectively coordinating and performing the movements of vehicles to and from the police workshop, including safely and securely removing\replacing police equipment (Airwave etc) prior to, or after being repaired by a third party repairer (bodyshop, warranty etc).
To assist in the service, maintenance and repair of vehicles and associated equipment and bicycles, including carrying out minor servicing and repairs under supervision.
The knowledge and skills required in the role:
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Good written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
- Previous experience of police computer systems (SAP).
- Previous experience of using databases preferred.
- Ability to input information accurately.
This role offers a competitive salary of £11.21 Per Hour PAYE and you’ll be working via REED who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more as well as weekly pay.
