Our Client, a Chartered Financial Planning Firm based near Loughborough are looking to recruit a Financial Services Analyst to join their growing Organisation. 

Reporting into the Operations Manager, this is an ideal opportunity to help inspire people to plan and achieve their goals, get their entire financial house in perfect order, and have a great life!






• Understand the specific needs for each area of the business and offer and implement effective solutions using technology.

• Improve efficiency, streamline and automate new and existing processes utilising all the functionality within Xplan and collaborating with the team.

• Identify improvements in existing systems and report any gaps or inefficiencies.

• Deliver excellent, clear, appropriate and concise communications at all levels.

• Provide training for new developments or changes to Xplan to group team members

• Be proactive, plan and prioritise workflow to ensure deadlines are met. Prioritising and managing multiple projects at one time.

• Liaising and supporting external IT support when onsite expert is required to keep the essential business systems operating

• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times, whether relating to Clients’ or the Company’s documentation and information.

• Attend regular Team Meetings, Huddles, 1:1 performance, personal development review meetings and appraisals.

• Set goals to develop potential and proactively maintain performance in line with Company guidelines using the Personal Development Journey and supporting documentation.
• Proactively seek and provide feedback.

• Attend internal and external courses as agreed appropriate to ensure ongoing competencies.

• Attend company events as requested.





• Previous Financial Services industry experience is essential
• Good level of technical knowledge, keeping up to date with innovations
• Ability to liaise with and interpret current practices and processes and deliver automated solutions.
• Familiar with XPlan is desirable
• Working knowledge of principles and regulations as set out by the Financial Conduct Authority
