Financial Services Support Officer
A really exciting opportunity has arisen with a highly successful financial advice firm who specialise in pensions based in Newcastle, are seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Services Support Officer, in a view to expand their team. You will be providing sales and administrative support to the technical services team. Utilise Administration Team support where workload demands it.
Full time: Permanent role
Location: Newcastle
Pay rate: Up to £26k
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

As the successful Financial Services Support Officer your duties will be:

• Check and submitting completed application.
• Follow CHECKLIST and complete new business submissions within SLA.
• Update Systems policy/plan details upon receipt from providers
• Complete applications with clients (online, in person or over the telephone)
• Select-A-Pension – input data from schemes & prepare reports
• Produce Illustrations for new plans, and upload to system.
• Review and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ensure relative tasks are assigned correctly to progress enquiry
• Use business Admin Frameworks and checklists to ensure all compliance documentation is present prior to submission.
• Any other Financial Services Administration tasks as required
• Operate within agreed systems and procedures across all aspects of the business to ensure business objectives are met
• Identify, share and adopt best practices to achieve continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain own professional competence
Skills and Experience
• Solid understanding of Financial Service Administration
• Pensions experience is required but not essential
• Good understanding of compliance issues
• Good time-management, well organised and Detailed orientated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good problem solving skills and good IT skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

As the successful Financial Services Support Officer you would be a professional and reliable person, who is confident in dealing with people, both on the phone and in person, have a can-do attitude, with the willingness to get the job done and have attention to detail. You will be willing to learn and take on new challenges on a daily basis. In return we offer a professional and friendly working environment.
