An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services administrator to join one of the largest Investment management and financial planning firms to be based in their Truro office.

Do you hold Financial Services experience in an administration or support role?

Audio typing is experience is essential for this position so please only apply if you have a strong background in audio typing from previous roles.




You will be responsible for undertaking administration procedures and processes, whilst providing secretarial and reception support ensuring that a first class service is delivered to all clients.

Principal Activities/Responsibilities:

Transfers in / out:
Check holdings, prepare transfer forms. Applying for Letters of Indemnities if required
Contact current brokers for valuations and book costs if applicable
Collate ‘initial transfers in’ spreadsheet detailing holding / cash transferred in, dates and values
Chase transfers for updates as and when required, update Investment Manager (IM) if any issues
Chase and check book costs if applicable
Arrange initial charge on Agent accounts if applicable
Confirm to IM once completed

Previous financial services administration experience required – additional training will be provided.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.

Ability to audio type is essential.
