We are recruiting for a client that is based in Guildford who is seeking a Wealth planning administrator to join the very reputable company that is a Chartered IFA who would be keen to see motivated and career minded candidates.  This company believes in supporting their staff through all career goals. 

The administrator’s role is to support the advisers in all capacities to which they have been trained, are capable and are authorised (i.e. non-advisory). This includes but not exclusively:
• Sending out Advisory (Suitability) letters and enclosures
• Composing Asset Allocation Spreadsheets
• Answering and dealing with client queries
• Scanning Meeting notes and creating Diary entries on Adviser Office (1st ) with Work In Progress (WIP) items
• Items of incoming post to be dealt with appropriately
• New clients to processed in line with procedures and Service Set-up letters (including invoice and details of service) to be forwarded to client within 2 weeks of receipt of Letter of Engagement
Adviser Office Management/Maintenance


Knowledge
• Financial Software – Adviser Office (1st) very desirable
• IT systems – Outlook, MS Word essential, Excel, - preferred
• IFA Office procedures and compliance - preferred
2.• Excellent customer handling – essential
• Good communication skills
3. Attributes
• Very well organised
• Work accurately
• Able to multi-task and set own priorities to meet conflicting deadlines
• Enthusiastic team member able to work well with all other team members at all levels
4. Education
• Up to degree standard - preferred
5. Experience
• At least 2 years relevant experience in an IFA environment – preferred
