REED Ireland have an excellent contractual opportunity for a Financial Controller position to work for a vibrant and forward thinking company in Dublin City. This will give the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced environment that will provide great experience in financial control and process implementation.

The company specialises in providing bespoke services for a broad range of high profile blue chip clients. They are based in the heart of Dublin's city centre and are well connected to all public transport links. This exciting full time contract is to cover company maternity leave, comes with a variety of company benefits and will last approximately 9 months


Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing budgets Vs performance

• Overseeing company projects through new accounting software to ensure appropriate actions are taken on each. I.e. closing POs, analysing performance and project spend.

• Reporting on company sales and performance through weekly management meetings

• Finalising and providing commentary on company accounts

• Overseeing company payroll and arranging banking payments

• Providing hands on support to existing team members when required

• Authorise and oversee company expenses to ensure for accurate action

• Preparation of various statutory returns including VAT & PAYE/PRSI

• Assisting with year-end audits

• Other Ad Hoc Duties


Skills Required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with ideally 5 years + PQE within an industry position

• Experience in new process implementation and project management is essential

• Have an ability to work in a vibrant office environment with a focus on creating and maintaining rapport with various departments

• Knowledge of a variety of accounts would be advantageous

• Advanced Excel user is advantageous

• High attention to detail

• Good team player

• Fluent written and spoken English
