My Client, a rapidly growing SME with huge potential, is looking to recruit a Part-Time Financial Controller in Knowsley. This business has doubled their turnover in the last 12 months and continues to grow.

Duties will include:

- Running the Finance function for this rapidly growing business, including all Accounting, Management Reporting, Payroll, Export & Import transactions
- Liaising with Shareholders to develop company's systems & procedures in order to keep pace with the company's growth
- Maintaining tight financial control at all times
- Acting as the Financial interface with outside organisations, including the External Accountants, HMRC, VAT, Finance House & the Bank
- Provision of accurate financial data which can be relied upon to make commercial & financial decisions concerning the future of the business

Experience / Qualifications required:

- Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant with a good academic record
- Team Player with good leadership skills
- Ability to interface with Entrepreneurial Business Owners
- Management experience gained in a rapidly expanding import / export business would be absolutely ideal
- Experience of Debt Factoring
- High energy individual who is a self-starter and who has a desire to run their own business eventually
- Ability to work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
- Strong influencing skills
- As this business is an SME, a willingness to take on lower level duties, both inside & outside the Finance team, is essential

This role will attract a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who does not want a full-time job initially but can potentially build up to this. The position could be full-time if combined with a similar role in another business under common ownership. This company will offer real flexibility around hours & days worked. This role may suit someone who has had an extended career break but wants to ease themselves back in to work gradually.
