Independent Financial Services Specialist Adviser PICOP - London

We are looking for a lively new member of our work family to join our fun but hard-working team in London.
You will become a core part of the Specialist PICOP Team in London with adhoc travel across the UK.


THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to work alongside our experienced Personal Injury and Court of Protection team to refine your skills and knowledge within financial advice.
You will be focused and determined to become a qualified Financial Adviser and work alongside established professionals to obtain experience within our industry.
Working alongside our senior managers and experienced advisers, you will attend meetings with existing and prospective clients and assist advisers in the preparation of financial advice. After a successful training period you will advise and manage your own client relationships independently.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Work alongside Senior PICOP Advisers (Personal Injury and Court of Protection) to gain knowledge and experience
Provide holistic financial planning to prospective and existing clients
Compile accurate investment reports that reflect client requirements and meet internal business standards
Undertake regular fact-finding, presentations and service review meetings with clients
Maintain and ensure client files are kept up to date
Hold review meetings with clients, feed back on existing arrangements and reassess the ongoing suitability of the financial planning solution.
Strive to recognise new business opportunities
Follow up on all enquiries in a timely manner
Generate a business pipeline level sufficient to meet your business targets
Ensure on-going continuous professional development


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Have employment experience within a paralegal or financial paraplanning capacity
Have experience working in a voluntary capacity further demonstrating empathy and compassion
Be articulate, empathetic and have an eagerness to learn
Be driven to secure the level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning – Advantage if its already held
