I am currently working exclusively with a fast growing, specialist business on the Essex/Herts border to assist in their search for a newly created position - a qualified Financial Accountant.
The role will report into senior management and work closely alongside the Directors of the company to assist in the development and growth of the finance function and reporting accuracy.
Aspects of the role include:
Preparation of statutory accounts, including HMRC submissions
Balance sheet review, management and analysis
Management of VAT returns and any necessary corporation tax requirements
Monthly, quarterly and year end management in line with Statutory obligations
Management and preparation of financial accountants
The support in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reviews
Providing support to the Financial Controller throughout the statutory audit, building a relationship with the auditors and tax consultants
