An excellent position has arisen within a leading Central Oxford organisation, for a Finance Clerk to work within the Financial Accounts Team. This position will report to the Accountant and will suit an AAT Studier or Graduate within an accounting/business related subject.
As a member of Financial Accounts team you will assist in the accurate and timely preparation of financial accounts for the department, directly supporting the Accountant.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Assisting the Accountant in preparing financial accounts for the UK business, delivering daily control tasks including daily reconciliations and checks, ansuring the system is up to date. Reporting issues found in processes
Maintaining month end reporting including turnover and results reporting, passing to team management to review
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring assets and liabilities are reconcilied
Document and maintain up to date procedure notes for all allocated tasks
Assisting the Systems Accountant to administer IT systems used, improving processes and investigating issues
This particular position will suit a candidate who is technically and systems orientated, seeking a financially focused role. An interest in how systems work, and how accounting entries are generated.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong problem solving skills, be an exceptional communicator, and be able to work with varying seniorities across various departments.
