I am working with a very successful business based in Windermere, with exposure throughout the UK and overseas. We are recruiting for a Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) / Assistant Accountant

This role is Temporary for a minimum period of 2 months and will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to work in a fantastic environment, within a friendly team, in modern offices.

Applicants must be able to display the experience/duties below clearly on their CV's:

• To check stock invoices to ensure these match the order number and goods received note. Includes checking price and quantity delivered to the invoice. To check price, quantity delivered to the invoice and entering the details onto PMS/GRNI
• To deal with queries on stock invoices from Suppliers and Managers
• Supplier statement reconciliation. Obtaining and reconciling these to our accounting records
• Monitoring/ Resolving supplier debit balances
• Ensuring full advantage is taken of Supplier credit terms
• Reviewing aged creditor balances
• Reviewing in tray items
• Payment matching

This role will also give you the opportunity to possibly develop your skills and gain exposure to managing payroll, tax compliance to planning, budgeting and management reporting as the Finance Team is a very close team.

Location: Windermere (excellent for car or train commuters)
Hours: Monday To Friday, 39 hours
Rate of Pay: £9.80 - £12 depending on level and experience
