I have a great opportunity working for an organisation within the Charity and Not for Profit sector.

The role is for a Finance Manager and will require any interested candidates to relocate/travel to North Africa. The Role will be for 8 months with the option and possibility for an extention.

The organisation helps those invested in helping educate others about crisis and conflict areas in over 30 different countries. They provide training and support and are pro free speech/expression and involving the public in debate and participation.

This Finance Manager role will involve over seeing the finance of an important project including budgeting, cash flow, grants, annual audit, petty cash, reporting and ensuring everything is compliant with the local laws.

The role will involve the management of a member of staff.

You will be incharge of managing the finances and budget, ensuring that the finance systems are kept in order adhering to the processes and standards required. The analysis and production of financial reporting. Operations management and ensuring all regulations are met.

To manage all the communications and relations for banking, payment processing and anything transactional.

This will also require to ensure that standards, regulations, local law, legislation and policies are adhered to, working abroad this will be a huge detail and priority.

It would be ideal and beneficiary if you are interested in applying to have:

Knowledge of North African Law and Taxation?

Knowledge of DFID, FCO or CSSF?

Strong problem solving skills and ability to deal with issues of a high complexity or nature?

Strong written and verbal communication abilities and confidentiality?

Deal with multiple projects and meet individual requirement - time management and prioritisation?

Manage a team?

Strong systems experience and knowledge and added advanced excel skills?

It would be beneficial to be able to speak or have knowledge of Arabic or French as well as English.
