A recently founded, innovative Healthcare Business is looking to hire a Qualified Finance Manager to lead one of their key Finance Functions. This newly created role will be based in Central London and will work in conjunction with the senior management team and an external firm of Chartered Accountants.

This is a full time permanent position and will cover the following key duties:

• Management of an effective financial support function largely focused on invoicing & credit control
• Engaging with Trusts in a professional manner to ensure they deliver their contract obligations for data provision and/or invoice payment
• Ensuring that invoices are prepared and dispatched based on this data for the service provided by reference to the contract terms for the particular Trust
• Deliver high quality management reports on the current and forecast positions
• Work closely with the external Financial Advisors and Chartered Accountants to support forward financial modelling and projections particularly associated with working capital and liquidity assessments
• Proactively managing rigorous credit control procedures to ensure that payment is received within contract terms
• Direct management and development of an accounts administrator
• Additional financial project work as required


The successful applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and have a proven track record of leading a Finance function/division within a high growth, SME business (£10-15 million turnover range). It is essential that applicants are self-starters and are able to demonstrate a proactive approach from their previous employment. Strong systems experience including intermediate/advanced Excel is essential.
