REED FINANCE are supporting a regular client to recruit a Finance Manager on a 15 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.
This client, based in Bicester, are a successful and established UK business and are part of a larger international group. The culture in this business is supportive, friendly and promotes new ideas and new ways of working.
You and your team ensure the timely delivery of Financial Information to the Business, with responsibility for managing the preparation and production of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting as outlined. The preparation and production of the yearly budget. The focus of the role will relate to below the GP level on the Profit and Loss Accounts and the full Balance Sheet.
You will provide the Management Team with overheads cost information including variance and analysis, allowing them to make informed business decisions, and to be better equipped in their management and control functions. At the same time ensuring that all accounting policies and financial legislation are adhered to.
To be considered for this role you will ideally be a qualified accountant with previous experience managing a small team.
You will be someone that is happy to be hands on and has a broad range of finance experience, likely to have been gained in an SME setting.
The successful candidate for this role will need to start within the next 2 - 3 weeks and hence must be on short notice.
