REED Finance are supporting the recruitment for a charitable trust to join them in the position of Finance Manager.
We are looking for someone who will take ownership of reporting and all-round finance management with the opportunity for the right candidate to be rewarded in being a key member of the management team and making a difference!
You will liaise across the accounts department and the organisation to ensure best practice and be the point of contact for the organisation both internally & externally.
Key responsibilities: ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, budgeting and forecasting, management accounts, team management, preparation of reporting and annual accounts and driving the implementation management of local control processes, develop and recommend improved reporting processes in all areas of finance, risk management & internal control, Year End and financial planning.
The role would ideally suit someone who is qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with experience gained within the Public Sector, Education, Third Sector and is comfortable being hands on with the transactional side of the accounts department as well as supporting the senior management team with their forecasting and business plan. Similarly, candidates who are recently qualified and in a management accountant role, who have some line management experience who are seeking a step up, are also encouraged to apply.
You will have first rate communication skills, with energy and enthusiasm and will be able to demonstrate that you can get hold of a task and take ownership.
