We are currently looking to appoint two AAT qualified (level 4) or equivalent Finance Manager's with appropriate experience in a similar setting. The positions are 6 month contract positions.
To carry out accounting and budgetary control procedures in order that final accounts, the budget and other financial management requirements may be provided to a specified department of the Authority in accordance with statutory and local requirements. To ensure the integrity of the Corporate Financial System for a range of services.
The main functions of these roles are:
Preparation and validation of revenue budgets.
Provision of revenue budget monitoring for a range of services with appropriate financial support and guidance.
To provide financial and non-financial data for council publications.
To be aware of relevant financial procedures, developments and legislation, both externally and from within the Authority.
To ensure the integrity of the Corporate Financial System for a range of services.
