Reed Finance are currently supporting a successful and established media based business who are seeking a new commercially focused senior finance professional to work on the technology side of their growing business.

The Finance Business Partner will be reporting into the Deputy CFO whilst supporting the Group Operations Director. You will make an active contribution to the technology leadership team whilst ensuring profitability and growth are continually maintained.

Key duties and responsibilities include: 

Manage financial support for the ongoing strategic review of the Technology roadmap

Partner effectively with the Technology Leadership Team and challenge all spend appropriately

Lead a small team and actively manage their development and performance to continually improve the provision of finance support to the department 

Actual cost reporting and investment appraisal and post project reviews. 

Proactively manage the Technology finances and ensure all reporting, analysis and commentary is fit for purpose

Accountable for the delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts for Technology 

Accountable for the delivery of monthly and quarterly technology metrics 

Direct and lead all adhoc financial analysis or financial project work, including parent company requests

Proactively monitor costs against budget /forecast 

Other adhoc duties as requested

In addition to a proactive approach and excellent communication skills, the following person specifications are key:

Commercial and operational awareness and suitable experience.
Advanced IT and systems skills
Proven track record in finance business partnering and senior analysis
Ability to present data in an accessible manner 
People management experience 
CCAB qualification
