Job Description-

Your main purpose for this role will be to administer and maintain the Association’s rent ledger, payroll and banking systems and ensure the integrity of financial information produced.

You will also be-

Undertaking the responsibility for the day to day administration and accuracy of the Association’s Rent Ledger.

Ensure that all income from Residents is posted accurately and in accordance with deadlines.

Calculate and administer annual rent adjustments.

Process and administer all aspects of the Association’s monthly payroll, including pensions and auto enrolment.

Administration of the holiday, sickness and flexible working systems.

Perform monthly reconciliations of all the Association’s bank accounts and update cashflow forecast.

Calculate and submit quarterly VAT returns.

Ensure arrangements are made for the safeguarding and recording of the Association’s petty cash.

Keep the relevant sections of the Association’s Financial Procedures Manual reviewed and updated.

Undertake the financial administration and accounts preparation for the Association’s managed organisations.

To work to the Association’s Vision, Mission and Values in all working practices.
To ensure that within the scope of this role, that the Value for Money Strategy is observed.

To carry out additional responsibilities reasonably associated with the post title and post holder’s capabilities, as and when required by the Association.



Skills and attributes-

Experience of running pensions (auto enrolment) and payroll systems including HMRC submissions.

Experience of accounts preparation and liaising with external auditors.

Experience of book-keeping and bank reconciliation.

Skilled in working with software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Ability to work as a team member and on own initiative to plan and manage workload.

Good organisational skills.

Flexible approach to duties and working arrangements.
