I am urgently seeking an experienced finance and payroll assistant on a part time basis for a temporary role based in Leatherhead. My client is currently recruiting for a permanent member of staff and in the interim require some temporary help to bridge the gap. The ideal would be to work three days a week 09.00- 16.30 (Weds- Fri) however they are flexible on hours as long as it reaches circa 20 hours per week.
You will be required to provide accurate, efficient and effective support to the business manager in order to support the finance function.
Your duties will include:
processing of purchase orders
processing of invoices, checking against orders and goods received notes and ensuring necessary authorisation ready for payment
dealing with supplier queries and ensuring returns and refunds are raised
Processing of the petty cash
Administering cheque payments
processing credit card payments
Processing the monthly payroll for circa 200 employees
checking claims for hours worked are accurate and authorised before processing for payment
collating monthly overtime sheets, expense forms and pay adjustments before passing for processing
general ad-hoc clerical duties such as typing, data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning and emailing.
This role is available to start WC 2nd of September and will run initially for one/two months, potentially longer. If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience please apply for immediate consideration. The role will pay £12.00- 12.50 per hour dependent on experience.
