I am working with a SME in the South Lincolnshire area who are looking for a Finance and Office Manager to joint – run their UK subsidiary, leading the Finance, HR and Health and Safety features of the business.
What are the essential traits to make you the right candidate for this opportunity?
- Experience within accounting – studying for CIMA/ ACCA or being qualified by experience
- Experience of accounting to trial balance
- Confidence – you are going to be co-running and UK company subsidiary.
- The willingness to travel to Switzerland once per year.
- Experience accounting within an SME
- The ability to work alone at times and be self-motivated during this time.
What are desirable attributes for this role?
- Experience Working in Health and Safety or having health and safety responsibilities.
- Experience Working in HR or having HR responsibilities
What will this role consist of?
- Managing the purchase/ sales and general ledgers
- Liaise with external Payrollers and auditors
- All responsibilities to and beyond trial balance.
- Administer pensions
Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Liaising with external auditors and managing the external audit process
- Liaise with H+S Consultancy
- Liaise with H+S and Quality Managers at Head Quarters
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Personnel Responsibilities (files/benefits/meetings)
- Recruitment of office personnel
- Administer Car Fleet
