REED FINANCE are supporting a successful and long standing SME based in Newbury to recruit a permanent General and Finance Manager.

Our client are have been established in the UK for over 30 years and are part of a successful international privately owned group. They design and manufacture their own products and supply this to their UK client base.

Based on the outskirts of central Newbury they offer a nice modern working environment, a friendly team, onsite parking and an earlier finish on a Friday!

The role heads up the operations of the UK business reporting into an overall country manager and manages a team of 5. You will be undertaking the book keeping for the business as well as producing monthly reporting across financial performance sales and cash flow.

You will also oversee some IT duties, negotiating insurances, vehicle and utility contracts, annual pricing review with clients and company secretarial duties.

This is a great broad role, right at the heart of this business, which requires you to have at least book keeping level experience together with a passion for the wider operation of the business. Previous experience working in a product based industry is required and exposure within an internal business would be an advantage.

The salary available is £50k plus monthly bonuses that have an OTE of £60k+. In addition they offer a 10% pension, private medical and onsite parking.
