Finance and Office Administrator, Fleet, to £25000 plus great benefits

A great opportunity to join a growing international business’ UK office in a pivotal role that combines varied Finance duties with a number of interesting Office Administrative functions.

The client is looking for someone friendly with a professional, can do attitude to support the Finance Manager in all aspects of transaction accounting work ranging from purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations and billing, invoices and statement preparation, assisting with payroll duties and through to initial debt chasing (easily managed by forging strong client relationships) and taking and resolving supplier queries etc. There will also be opportunities for the successful candidate to expand their remit in due course.

On the Office Admin side, working with the Office Manager you will answer incoming calls, meet and greet (occasional) visitors, deal with couriers, ensure health and safety compliance, manage the meeting and board rooms, monitor stationary levels and kitchen supplies, deal with post and filing as well as handling all invoice related paperwork.

This is an extremely varied role that will ideally suit an AAT studier (or someone keen to), who is looking for a job that will offer development and opportunities down the line. Excel skills are a must (and will be tested) as is competent use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and (ideally) PowerPoint. The client needs someone flexible, willing and keen to learn, pro-active and able to prioritise and manage their own time, with good attention to detail and able to demonstrate some day to day business acumen. This role would suit someone with good all round Bookkeeping / Accounts Administrator experience as much as it would an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant as the client is open to suggestion. 

Anyone able to speak French, German or Spanish would be extremely welcome, although languages are not a pre-requisite for this role.

In addition to the competitive basic salary up to £25,000, there is a discretionary bonus scheme which could add a further £500+, a generous 8% pension contribution (i.e. a further c£2000 paid tax free into a savings scheme!), 25 days holiday, various insurance policies, full relevant study support and free on-site parking.
