Our client is a facilities management company based in Leeds city centre with 40 years of experience in their field. Their business is constantly growing and has diversified into new sectors, with a large amount of new work in the pipeline.

The Facilities Team Member works across a group of buildings, providing and delivering the company promise to the highest possible operational standard.

Responsibilities include:

- Undertaking reactive maintenance and duties as required
- Undertaking reactive tasks for the customers, ensuring that work standards are high and tasks are completed on time.
- Maintaining the customer areas and meeting rooms, dealing with facility inquiries and customer problems
- Monitoring and overseeing contractors on site
- Working at height (e.g. changing light bulbs, cleaning guttering) and some lifting may be required
- Responding to emergency situations (e.g. evacuation, alarm activations, accidents) as part of the property call-out team
- Attending team meetings and training where necessary
- Working with the front of house team in pricing jobs and completing tasks to the customer’s satisfaction


The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Working to schedules – planned maintenance and reactive work
- A high degree of customer focus and dedication to high standards of customer service
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- An excellent understanding of verbal and written English
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to build strong working relationships and work well in a team
- A hands-on, can do attitude and a positive, motivated disposition
- The desire to make a difference
