My client a prestigious 5 star hotel based in the heart of London are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with a proven track record within the leisure and hotel industry.

Candidates would need to have the following experience / skill's to be considered for the post , here's some of the role requirements ;

Procurement/ Contracts Management - Budget control , contract agreements, third party suppliers

Staff Management - To manage staffing levels , manpower , headcount, recruitment and selection, policies and procedures , performance management, staff retention, appraisals , disciplinary, employment legislation, data protection, equal ops, leadership, attendance.

Training and Development - To provide coaching to staff and managers, varied skills training.

Maintenance & Infrastructure - To ensure a planned preventive maintenance system is in place, performance standards monitoring, technical knowledge, daily update meetings with technical management, planned schedules are monitored, risk analysis, maintenance recording.

Energy and Waste - Monitor and review energy consumption and make recommendations, waste disposal and storage management

Stock Control - Assist in stock taking and recording

Health and Safety - To ensure the Hotel is kept up to date with legislation , keeping systems in place.

Financial Control - Budgets are adhered to , PO's are raised, supplier costs are best value

Candidates would need to have at least 2 years experience at this level
Candidates that have industry specific qualifications would be highly desirable
The post is an immediate start .

£40-50K + benefits
