REED Sales are seeking an Export Sales Manager to join one of clients based in Suffolk. The company specialise in manufacturing of centrifugal pumps at a world-leading standard. They supply to Power, Industrial, Chemical, Oil & Gas exploration, production and refining industry and petrochemical markets.
The role will be focused on targeting UK & European customers whom supply to international Oil & Gas projects. The successful applicant will be working from the UK headquarters / home based but will involve a large percentage of international travel.
Aspects of the role:
Effective Management and planning for customer visits
Delivery of sales order to target per annum (10% year on year growth).
Managing customer registration and approved vendor status for new and existing customers and territories.
Successful identification & development of agreed territory markets with sustainable sales revenue.
Coordination of strategic project tracking and ensuring activity is undertaken when necessary by other member of the international sales team.
Skills required for the role:
Well presented with a professional and dedicated manor.
A mechanical engineering background.
Previous knowledge of centrifugal pumps or rotating machinery.
Used to working on your own initiative.
Proven track record of working to demanding targets and challenging deadlines.
An ability to identify legitimate potential from generic enquiries.
Ability to read and understand detailed specifications.
Understanding of international standards which are relevant to petrochemical, oil & gas markets.
