Based a short walk from Moorgate, Liverpool Street stations, we are looking for a highly motivated, charismatic and organised individual to join a leading intellectual property firm in the City of London. 

This client deal with large, multinational SME's, Universities and other IP firms around the world. You will have direct communication with clients about their patent cases and will work closely with partners of the firm, as well as with other secretaries and administrative staff.

You will be responsible for: 
• Recording and passing on telephone messages accurately and promptly
• Reviewing incoming emails, noting instructions, relevant deadlines and replying where appropriate
• Arranging UK and international travel
• Preparing and sending correspondence and invoices to clients
• Audio typing of documents and reports
• Reviewing official correspondence from patent offices and reporting to clients
• Updating and saving to electronic files
• Assisting with compliance with relevant protocols
• Ad hoc administrative assistance for the team

You will need to: 
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbally
• Have previous experience in an office environment, preferably in Intellectual Property 
• Be highly competent in using IT systems, particularly MS Office and Adobe
• Be able to prioritise and manage tasks within a given timescale
• Have the ability to produce work to the standards required and with accuracy and attention to detail
