There is now a fantastic job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant at an excellent client that has kept growing and developing throughout this time. The company has experienced massive growth due to extended contracts and new clients.
What does the role entail?
The primary focus of this role will be to cover all transactional duties through to producing management accounts. The role will need you to take complete responsibility for the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring that all invoices are entered quickly and accurately, as well as supporting the Financial Controller in running a smooth and efficient finance department and supporting with monthly management accounts production.
What Skills will I need for this role?
The successful candidate will need to be studying at AAT level 4 or actively pursuing either ACCA or CIMA qualifications. The ideal candidate should have experience of maintaining the sales ledger, running a payroll function, and also have experience of raising purchase orders.
Your remit will also include producing cashflow forecasts, as well as bank reconciliations.
Another one of your main objectives will be production of monthly management accounts, you will be directly reporting into the Financial Controller but under the close supervision of the management accountant within the team. As well as the skills needed to perform the role you will be a strong communicator at all levels from entry level to senior management, be highly driven with exceptional attention to detail, possessing a positive and approachable demeanour.
