Interested in working for a unique organisation near Fleet Street? A role has arisen with a lovely membership company for an Events Finance Administrator.

What does the role entail?
The role will be sat in the events team but a finance role, acting as a liaison between the two. The role will entail processing financial documents and paperwork for the events department including purchase and sales ledger. There will be an element of credit control involved in the role aswell. Taking note of floats, petty cash and cash bar takings and wine stock movements would be required. In addition some moth end requirements will need to take place. Making sure event related payroll is tracked and recorded. Assisting the chef in preparation of all food allocations to events and help with the budget and forecasts.

What are they looking for from a candidate?
A degree in business administration or hospitality management course would be helpful. Having purchase and sales ledger experience would be key to this role. The client would like someone with intermediate excel skills such as v look ups and pivot tables. Personality is key and someone who can work well under pressure as well as having good written communication skills and attention to detail.
Having working experience for an events or hospitality company is essential.

The company are set in beautiful grounds and offer a friendly company to work for. The company offers a lovely location for events to be held. The hours are 9am-5.30pm how ever flexibility is required.
