My client, a leading healthcare research institute, are looking for a proactive candidate that is keen to develop their career to join their events team. 

The successful candidate will provide administrative support  to the Events Consultant as well and the wider team/office. 

• To assist the Event Manager/Consultant in delivering a high quality and effective operational service
• To assist and support the Event Manager in overseeing all stages of an event, from enquiry through to execution, within agreed service standards
• Manage all pre-event planning, e.g. organising guest speakers, travel itineraries, delegate packs etc.
• Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
• Liaise with finance to ensure that external/internal events are invoiced accurately and in accordance with financial regulations
• Produce post event evaluation to inform future events, ensuring it is effectively recorded and communicated to all relevant parties
• Liaise with contributing teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated
• Ability to provide support for multiple events simultaneously
• All other ad hoc administrative duties

• Degree in event planning or marketing preferred but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
