As the Estates Director provide leadership of the Estates team and prime operational management, authority, and responsibility for the day to day running of my clients Head Office; together with their estates across EMEA, Russia and Oceania. This role has full responsibility for managing all aspects of the the UK estate, resources and systems including overseeing the EHS, Estates & Building & Utility Engineering Teams; to ensure they provide an environment that supports the safe, secure and efficient operation of the organisations based at the EKC (e.g. head office, commercial, manufacturing and R&D) whilst meeting government and industry legislation and corporate standards.
The role is also responsible for the provision of long term strategic and resource planning for operation and development of the all sites across the region and for ensuring Crisis Management and Business Continuity plans are in place across the region. What are we looking for? You will have a demonstrated background in an Estates Management role encompassing both people & project management.
Specific experience in a Pharmaceutical (GxP) environment and knowledge of relevant legislation is highly advantageous but not essential.
Your experience will include some or all of the following: • Real Estate management, preferably at an EMEA level. Environment, Health and Safety. • Facilities Management. • Site engineering. • Security. • Supplier management. Experience of running similar multi-function facilities. • Hands on budget management.
