Are you someone with facilities management experience, looking for your next job?

We have a full time temporary position available with a public sector employer, paying £10.50 - £11 an hour.

The job is based on the outskirts of the city – so ideally you need to be able to drive. You’ll need to be free for an informal interview during July, and ready to start the job itself in the first or second week of August. The role will initially be for approximately 4 months, though extensions for temporary positions like these are not uncommon.

As well as experience of facilities management or a similar role, you’ll also need to be comfortable raising purchase orders and checking invoices, keeping maintenance and training documentation accurate and up to date, and getting around the property performing inspections or providing escorted visits. You’ll also need to have great communication skills, as you’ll be liaising with all kinds of people, such as colleagues, contractors and landlords.

Working as a temporary member of staff through Reed you will be paid weekly (a week in arrears), receive holiday pay in addition to your hourly rate, have access to a rewards scheme and pensions scheme, free eye test vouchers, and more. Once placed into a temporary role with the client, you may have the opportunity to apply for suitable permanent vacancies advertised internally.
