We are looking to appoint an exceptional English teacher with knowledge and understanding of delivering engaging, destination focussed subjects. We are seeking to employ a teacher who have the passion to make a difference to the education of young people.
New premises and the further broadening of our curriculum has resulted in a new teaching vacancy.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an English teacher in either mainstream school, SEN or Alternative Curriculum provisions. Applicants from a Primary School teaching background will be equally considered.
At the forefront of our criteria are the ability to be positive, a can-do attitude, a resilient personality and a creative and flexible approach to teaching that builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation.
We offer excellent professional development opportunities therefore we welcome the opportunity to upskill the right candidates in areas which require further development to create excellent teaching practitioners for our SEMH school.
We now boast a breadth of teaching expertise which includes subject specialists and those with the ability to teach with a discreet focus upon well-being and cognitive and social/emotional development. Part of our crucial role is to ensure that our students develop in to confident young people, master strategies and improve their emotional well-being before continuing to their chosen destination.
We pride ourselves in offering bespoke curriculum pathways for students who have disengaged from mainstream education and are selected as more suitable for destination based learning in small class sizes.
