This role will focus on Key Stage 4 and 5 English.
Reporting to the Head Teacher you will be a responsible class teacher who is able to assess student needs, plan individual and group lessons, deliver curriculum, progress monitoring, recording, evaluation and reporting as well as contributing generally to meeting the aims and ethos of the school as a whole. This role demands the application of specialised teaching approaches for learners with ASD, systematic planning and record keeping and the management of LSAs and RSWs.
Teachers with a subject specialism may have responsibility as subject co-ordinators for the development and monitoring of curriculum delivery across the school; on this occasion a management point will be paid.
