Reed Education in Cheltenham are currently looking for an enthusiastic English Lead Teacher for an exciting new role in a Secondary School in Gloucester.

To start in September the school are looking for an outstanding English Lead Teacher to join them on a full time, temporary basis. In the first instance, the role will go from September to Christmas, with the possibility of becoming permanent from January for the right candidate.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and a proven record of outstanding teaching in English from Key Stage 3 to 5.
• You will be required to model and lead the improvement of teaching skills and provide guidance to staff.
• You will create an appropriate programme for pupils and coordinate GCSE workshops.
• You will have excellent classroom management with the ability to plan, prepare and teach relevant, creative and challenging lessons
• You will maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment, where each pupil is inspired to achieve their full potential.
• You should have excellent communication, behaviour management and organisational skills.
• You will need to work well as part of a dynamic and dedicated team.
