Job Title: English GCSE and Functional Skills Lecturer (Adult Learners)

Location: Essex/ East London
Pay rate: £23.21 (will increase after 12 weeks)
Hours: 19hrs p/w (blended learning with an evening session 6pm-9pm)
Duration: Ongoing (Sept start)

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the Essex area

Starting in September, the college are looking for an outstanding English Lecturer to join them on an ongoing temporary basis.

The College:
· Received a ‘Good’ grade from Ofsted in 2017
· Offers industry standard facilities that are among the best in London
· Outstanding leadership and management

The Role:
· You will be teaching GCSE English to Adult students in an FE environment
· Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

What you will need:
· A recognised teaching qualification
· A degree or equivalent qualification in English
· Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
· Prior experience working with students with difficult/challenging behaviour would be advantageous
