Job Description:

As Engineering Reliability Manager, you will head up the engineering team, providing a safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing facility through leadership of the engineering and reliability division.


Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that improve current maintenance practices and processes to improve equipment and machinery performance, reliability, and lower repair costs.

Provide leadership to the engineering team to enable them to perform well as a team and within their own roles, as well as identifying training needs and skill gaps.

Work alongside other teams within the organisation to identify and collaboratively solve problems, share knowledge to build on company values and the Engineering strategic plan.

Ensure the continuity of locally supplied spares through the interaction and collaboration with all functions. Actively source alternative suppliers and parts, while maintaining and improving production efficiency

Ensuring accurate data input and recording of all related data bases to aid in detailed analyses for focused improvements.

Person Specification:

Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or technical discipline.

Min 5 years’ experience of Reliability Engineering in a FMCG manufacturing environment.

TPM experience

Preferably previous experience as a multi skilled engineer.

Lean Six Sigma Certification – Not Essential

Experience in People Management, Performance Management, Absence Management and Investigations/Disciplinary Processes.

Proven track record in delivering improvements and achieving challenging goals.

Previous experience managing budgets.

Ability to make tough and logical decisions when under pressure and takes responsibility for decisions made.

Ability to handle and solve problems with minimal guidance. 

Previous experience consistently setting and achieving set objectives


Benefits Package

Salary £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Bonus Scheme up to 15% of salary
