Employment Team Manager - £30,000-35,000 – College of North West London

Are you passionate about improving employment opportunities for students? A strong leader? Reed NCFE are recruiting an Employment Team Manager and it could be you!

Based in the College of North West London, REED NCFE are working to build relationships between the college and employers to increase the number of work experience placements taken by students.

Leading a small team of Employment Brokers at the college, you will support students to gain work experience alongside their studies. Your day-to-day activities will include:
• Delivering workshops to groups of students, providing advice and guidance on how to find, apply for and complete a placement
• Developing relationships with potential employers to secure vacancies and discuss students who may be suitable for their organisation
• Managing a small team with a significant potential for growth, responsible for their performance, wellbeing and coaching
• Promoting a positive mindset towards placements and emphasising the importance of mindset when gaining employment

Essential Skills
• Experience working in a customer facing environment
• A personal track record of working to/achieving targets
• Evidence of experience in, or a desire to progress into a people management role including supporting, mentoring, coaching and developing individuals.
• Minimum of A Levels (Grade A-C ) or equivalent.
• Strong administration skills
Desirable attributes
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of client groups
• Welfare-to-work or similar sector experience
• Employer engagement/learner tracking experience
