My client is an industry leader within their specialism- delivering help to a diverse range of businesses. They are looking for a Learning & Development Manager EMEA to join this trusted business.

This role entails having an understanding of different cultural nuances and being skillled in relationship management. It is majorly a stand-alone role with self-management and the ability to develop day to day operations is essential. Crucially, you will have experiece of modern workplace learning (the 70/20/10 model).

Whilst managing the performance of the L&D team to maintain a high quality service, you will be responsible for the identification, coordination and management of operational, service and leadership development initiatives to build, in partnership with business leaders, the competencies of all employees to achieve organisational business results against key strategies.

The post holder will work with Senior Management to establish a strategic learning plan for the organisation and budget planning. They will conduct performance analysis to determine skill and knowledge gaps. The Manager will create an environment that promotes team effectiveness and cooperation.

• CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience of working with the 70/20/10 model
• Experience of providing an L&D programme and advisory service across a complex organisation while demonstrating organisational and cultural sensitivity
• Experience of leading and managing an L&D team/function including direct line management
• Experience of working within a multi-site (global) function able to build relationships and influence colleagues across regional boundaries
• Proficient facilitator of corporate programmes
• Familiarity of modern workplace learning, talent management and organisation development
• Knowledge of working within a horizontally integrated HR environment with experience of working on wide HR projects such as employee/talent resourcing and employee relations
• Demonstrate integrity and have the ability to act as a reliable advisor to the business in the provision of advice and support on complex learning and development issues
• Able to work flexibly on a range of projects whilst managing a workload with conflicting priorities
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills at all levels
• Resourceful problem solver and an effective influencer with management
