We are a small and friendly Electromechanical Engineering company, based in Bedfordshire. Currently we are looking to grow our team and are looking for a Electro Mechanical Assembler with previous experience in either an electronic or mechanical assembly environment.

The ideal candidate will:


Be able to solder to a high standard, read circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, and mechanical drawings and follow written procedures.

Know how to assemble and mount various components, identify, crimp and terminate wires and build precision assemblies.

Mechanical assembly will also be required so a good understanding of engineering, materials, descriptions and their properties along with familiarisation of modern manufacturing techniques and processes would be desirable.

Be prepared to work at customer’s premises.

Responsibilities: To build custom and bespoke cable assemblies, wiring looms and harnesses. To assemble, wire and test products to customers wiring schedules, drawings, samples or procedures. To carry out mechanical assembly, which may involve drilling, tapping and sawing along with component mounting, identifying, wiring and terminating. Any other duties consider relevant to the above.

The successful applicant may also be asked to support cable Technicians so experience of various types of cable termination techniques and soldering along with any other electronic experience would be a big advantage.


Previous experience in an assembly position and a good understanding of both electronic and mechanical practices and principles are essential. 

Ideally, a minimum qualification of an ONC or HNC in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Rate: £10 - £11 p/hr depending on experience
20 working days holiday plus bank holidays. Two 10 minute paid tea breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 

Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime may be available.
