My client are a B2C company based in Melksham, currently looking for a strong Digital Marketing Manager with an ecommerce background!

You will be managing digital marketing channels to drive relevant and targeted traffic to meet revenue growth objectives. Analyse performance of existing channels, optimise to improve effectiveness and propose new channels. Responsibility for maintaining the development roadmap for the ecommerce website, liaising directly with third party website development agency. Ensure all messaging adheres to brand guidelines, provides consistency with other marketing channels and supports company objectives.


• Using digital paid media to increase online revenues.
• Focus on improving performance of core acquisition sources, specifically paid search and paid social.
• Use your prior experience and inquisitive nature to propose new opportunities within search, social, display and other digital media.
• Testing wherever possible, to improve effectiveness and efficiency of campaigns
• Maintaining the website development roadmap, liaising with development agency to progress projects. Conducting UAT before deployment to the live site.
• Continually monitor and analyse performance to provide actionable insights. Available data sources will include Google Analytics and in-house reporting.
• Analysing user data and search data to contribute to our content strategy
• Working with the wider marketing team, to ensure a consistent approach with other online and offline marketing channels.

Required Skills and Experience
• A minimum 3 years’ experience in client-side Digital Marketing
• Experience using and managing third party software and agencies to achieve website objectives
• Working with third party development agencies to manage website developments.
• Demonstrable experience improving the performance of digital marketing campaigns, specifically using Adwords and Facebook Advertising
• Interpreting numerical data, specifically web analytics, to inform commercial decision-making. Experience using Google Analytics is preferred.
• Experience using a CMS to manage website content, preferably Magento and Wordpress
• A genuine passion for digital, and awareness of new developments and commercial opportunities
• An aptitude for working pro-actively to achieve results
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Experience
• A basic understanding of HTML
• Good verbal communication skills
• Understanding of CRM and customer lifecycle principles
• A degree or professional qualification in a digital marketing or related subject would be an advantage
