Design Technology- Resistance Materials Teacher needed in Cranleigh!

Reed Education Guildford are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in Cranleigh, Surrey.

Keen to have the right person to fit their successful and thriving school this position will be starting in January 2018.

The School:
• A mixed school
• Every pupil is supported throughout their education and are superbly prepared for the next stage of their education and their future lives.

The Role:
• You will be teaching Design Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Participating with the wider school community and their extensive extra-curricular activities
• Continue to meet, maintain and build upon the schools strong professional values and practice
• To be a member of a pastoral team and, if required, a form tutor carrying out additional responsibilities
• This is an excellent classroom based position and a great opportunity to either start you career as an NQT or to continue your career teaching Design Technology.

What you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4
• A degree in Design Technology subject is desirable
• Broad subject knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to supporting pupils of all abilities
• Ability to teach pupils across the full age and ability range present in the school
