Are you and organised and experienced Document Controller looking for a permanent opportunity with a well established specialist construction company who have continued to grow and thrive in the current market? 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys playing a pivitol role in a busy projects team, working in a supportive, fun and laid back team. On the morning when I visited the atmosphere felt very open door, I could hear laughing and joking down the corridors and the team were being provided with hot breakfast on that Friday morning. 

This is a busy role and someone who is hardworking, reliable and a good communicator would really thrive here. 

The person must have Document Control experience and in return you will be offered a salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 with fantastic company benefits including free parking on site, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, brilliant pension scheme and private health care.

You will be expected to liaise with both the project and design team regarding the projects they are currently working on. Duties include uploading technical drawings, using online systems to assist with Client's projects, quality control and printing drawings. Customer service skills are also desirable as you will be liaising with the Client's themselves; 

• The daily use of different online document control systems such as 4Projects, BIW, Conject to manage documents for individual projects
• Downloading and uploading drawings in a timely manner based on the requirements of the project.
• Individual projects may require more thorough use of online systems which may include electronic voting, commenting and mark ups on drawings and documents.
• Maintaining a thorough document register to record receipt and issuing of documents.
• Printing and folding of drawings ranging from A4 to A0 using our in house printers and plotters (guidance can be given on how to use these).
• Maintenance of the plotter and plotter room including the ordering of paper, inks and other consumables to ensure that these do not run out and ensuring that the room is clean and tidy.
• Dealing with the project teams and external clients and consultants when required to ensure that the document control systems are running efficiently.

Ideally you will have Document Control experience and use of 4PROJECTS and BIW Conject. 

Someone with strong administration, organised and who is a real team player would really fit in well in this team.
