A new opportunity working for a professional organisation in stunning city centre offices has come up, this is a brand new role and a blank canvas for you to come in and really leave your substantial mark!

My client are looking for a Digital Expert to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering commercial revenues by ensuring that the digital channels maximise conversion through the customer journey, whilst utilising the latest digital techniques to enhance sales. You will have 2 direct reports.

• The implementation of the SEO campaigns, with a clear understanding of how search fits into the overall marketing mix
• Drive the strategic digital groundwork of digital engagement with consumers using existing and emerging experiences on the web, on desktop and mobile.
• Proactively seek out new opportunities to test, with particular focus on new customer acquisition including engagement and management and direct response acquisition campaigns
• Identify latest trends in the digital space to continuously build on success; tools, applications, channels, design, updates, news, strategy etc.
• Increase in defined customer engagement metrics (measured by users taking the desired action…i.e. shares, likes, conversions, subscription, purchase, etc.).
• Browser compatibility testing for all content and website performance, both current and legacy
• Contact forms – optimised, surveyed, tested to ensure best practise and user experience on desktop, mobile and tablet
• Optimisation of all online content for internal and external search

Key skills required:

• A thorough understanding of algorithms within search engines is vital in this role
• Experience of integrating content marketing and social media (including digital PR) into campaigns is also a must, alongside strong onsite technical skills.
• Experience of Google Analytics and other analytics packages
• Excellent understanding of website technologies and an awareness of website development
• Previous experience of managing digital marketing for other similar organizations
• Experience in implementing and adapting digital strategies; running tests, analysing results every day to constantly improve marketing deliverables
• Knowledge of digital tools; scheduling, posting, analytics, monitoring
• Good knowledge of the digital world including PPC/SEO, social blogging, analytics, video etc. and onsite conversion
