My client - a top London School - is seeking a Development Executive to join their rapidly expanding team. Due to this rapid growth in The Development team, you will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining fundraising events, project research, general administration in relation to the role and managing the CRM database.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience dealing with fundraising event in either a School or Charitable organisation. Events organisation will be essential - with proof of fundraising events that you have run to support your application. You will need to be a great team player and have excellent written and verbal communication.
You will need to be highly flexible as you will work across two school sights in London.
The perfect candidate will be enthusiastic in their work, articulate and confident, be able to build strong relationships and be able to see projects through from start to finish.
Key elements of the role include; Build relationships with current parents and staff across both Schools. Promote the benefits of the Development function in each school to current and past parents/alumni at key school events. Provide support at donor thanking, fundraising, parent and corporate supporter events. This will include evening commitments during term time. Research potential new donors and fundraising streams (from current and past parents, alumni and corporate/local businesses) & manage pipelines. Keep Development and fundraising materials updated (both digital and printed), copy write new materials when necessary, adhere to agreed gift acknowledgement policies, thanking and stewardship programmes. Support with administration of all of the above. Administer all outgoing fundraising communications to parents and alumni. Manage incoming donations and databases and keep CRM database up to date. Work with and support the Development Manager to achieve or exceed agreed income targets.
This is just an outline of the role as a whole. There is likely to be added administrative duties for you to cover.
