My client is recruiting 2 Desktop Support engineers who are available to join on a temporary to permanent basis, you'll run under a contract for 12 weeks and providing both parties are happy the role will be become a permanent position.

Ideally you will be coming with circa 3 years IT support experience and you will have supported Windows 10 (OS my client is moving to) in your previous role:

Role & Responsibilities

• Action and resolve escalated Helpdesk problems.
• In-house projects
• Create procedural documentation of resolutions to commonly accruing problems.
• SLA compliance.
• Provide back fill onto IT Helpdesk Team.
• Desktop/Laptop/Smart Phone/Tablet Hardware and Software Support.
• Printer Support.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of handheld devices and OS/applications associated,
• e.g. Blackberry, Tablets and Smart Phones.
• Knowledge of Mobile technologies such as GPRS, 2 to 4G.
• Computer servers.
• LAN & WAN knowledge, IP Networks.
• Trackit / LANDesk.
• Citrix.
• Windows 10
• VPNs.
• VNC.
• Print servers.
• Lotus Notes.
